Parts Of Poland Flattened In Tornado Aftermath (Video)

Poland is launching major clean-up operations on Monday after summer tornadoes ripped through the country over the weekend, killing one man and wounding ten others. Weather forecasts point to more storms in the coming days as 1,200 rescue workers work to remove fallen trees. 

Euronews reports that the Baltic region of Pomerania and two other provinces were the hardet hit. One tornado went through the town of Sztum, ripping through a populated area.

Overall, winds destroyed 100 houses and 400 hectares of woodland, according to The Warsaw Voice. The tornadoes also disrupted powerlines, roads and rail networks. 

The only fatality was a 60-year-old man who was crushed when his house collapsed.  Here's a montage of footage of the tornadoes' wrath:
